Leila Sunier is an Austin-based indie artist whose songwriting embraces contrast. Moving fluidly across genres and emotional registers, her work remains anchored in a distinct, perspective-driven voice. Known for pairing raw expression with sharp, self-aware lyricism, she often undercuts intensity with subtle, cutting humor.

She independently released two EPs in 2020: If Only To Bleed Out the White Noise and Where Everything Is Perfect, the latter co-produced with Alex Newport and earning support from NPR, PopMatters, and others. Since relocating to Austin in 2022, she has released the fully self-produced full-length Too Big For Right Now (2024). She is currently finishing her second album, due in 2026.
