Ben Goodman is a jazz saxophonist born and raised in Austin, Texas. After playing classical clarinet throughout middle and much of high school, he picked up the alto saxophone in hopes of pursuing his love for jazz music. Cutting his teeth busking on the downtown pedestrian bridge and attending local jam sessions, Ben developed a love for the improvisational and community-driven aspects of music. Now, he studies at the University of Texas at Austin under Diego Rivera, honing his skills, dabbling in composition and performing all over the city of Austin.
